Sophie Krentzman

Associate Vice President, Engagement at Combined Jewish Philanthropies

Sophie Krentzman has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Sophie worked at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) from 2012 to the present, serving in various roles including Director of Arts and Culture, Senior Development Officer, and Development Officer. Before joining CJP, Sophie worked at Hillel from 2011 to 2012 as a Human Resources Associate, where they were responsible for facilitating staff hiring processes and supporting campus-driven professional development initiatives. Prior to that, they worked at Sitar Arts Center from 2009 to 2010 as a Programs Associate and Assistant to the Director of Students and Families, where they were involved in communications, event marketing, volunteer coordination, and logistics management. Sophie also served as a Corps Member at AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps in 2009.

Sophie Krentzman attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. In 2008, they also had the opportunity to participate in a Study Abroad Semester at the University of Haifa International School.
