Domenico Sainato

Domenico Sainato has over 15 years of professional experience in various roles. Domenico began their career as a Trainer Junior at Continental in 2004. Domenico then worked as a Design Engineer at Grimac, where they launched new product lines and standardized designs, leading to increased revenues and improved productivity. After that, they became a Product Development Engineer at Manuli Rubber Industries, where they directed the product development process, increased the number of product developments per year, and received recognition for product quality. Domenico then joined Comecer SpA as a Project Manager, overseeing large-scale projects and ensuring on-time delivery. As a Resident Manager at Veenstra Instruments, they integrated sales processes with the company's headquarters and optimized production processes, resulting in increased orders and cost savings. Currently, Sainato is serving as the Managing Director at Comecer Netherlands, where they are responsible for expanding the business and maintaining customer relationships, managing budgets, and providing risk analysis and compliance updates.

Domenico Sainato attended INSEAD in 2022, where they studied Digital Strategy. Prior to that, in 2016, they completed a program in Finance for Senior Managers at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Domenico also holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Domenico has obtained a certification in "Driving business towards the Sustainable Development Goals" from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2023.
