Lee M. Gardner

Lee Gardner was born in the state of Missouri (USA) on January 7, 1947. He graduated from Missouri State University in 1969 and from the University of Utah in 1973 with an MBA. He retired from One Equity Partners in December 2019 where he has served as a partner and Managing Director since the company was founded in 2001. He has a corporate and operational leadership / governance background. During his nearly 19 years at One Equity Partners, his primary focus has been on supporting portfolio companies, where he worked closely with leadership teams and served on the boards of directors in the role of Chairman / Administrator. He has also served as a director in publicly traded companies, including MascoTech, Inc. (NYSE: MSX) and until 2019 she was a member of the board of directors of Faurecia SE (EO: PA) based in Paris. Prior to One Equity Partners, he held various positions in operational and functional leadership roles at Borg Warner Corporation (1973-1982) and MascoTech Inc. (1982-2001). He resides with his wife in Birmingham, Michigan, a northern suburb of Detroit.
