Chris Nugent

Chris Nugent is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in commercial relationship management and leadership roles. Currently serving as VP, Commercial Relationship Manager at Comerica Bank since September 2022, Chris previously held the position of President for the Greater Lansing Market at Horizon Bank from 2014 to 2022. Prior to that, Chris was Senior Vice President & Chief Lending Officer at Summit Community Bank from 2002 to 2014 and worked as a Commercial Relationship Officer at Chase (formerly Bank One) from 1999 to 2002. Chris began a career in banking as a Regional Sales Manager at Citizens Bank from 1990 to 1999, where responsibilities included developing strategies for sales and service goals across a multi-branch network. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Michigan State University after graduating from Waverly High School.
