Daniel Lax

Daniel Lax is currently the IT Manager at Comet. Prior to that, they were a System Administrator at Informat Computers Ltd from September 2018 to April 2019. There, they were responsible for the network, security, machine and user administration for dozens of small companies - all with independent domains and equipment. Daniel provided remote support for networking, emails, and hardware diagnostics, as well as on-prem and cloud server management (AWS, Azure), storage management (Windows server backup, Cloudberrry, Egnyte, Ctera).

Before that, they were a Cloud Administrator at Cloudify.co from April 2018 to August 2018. There, they were responsible for IT & Operations Administration. This included server management for AWS, Azure, OpenStack (Rackspace), GCP/G Suite Admin, Jira, GitHub and CircleCI. Daniel also provided remote and physical troubleshooting, installation and configuration for Windows, Ubuntu, and Mac OS machines. Additionally, they were responsible for physical network (switches, routers cables) maintenance and servicing tickets via Samanage.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Helpdesk Technician at Western Digital from April 2017 to April 2018. And before that, they were a System Administrator at Mamram from December 2014 to December 2016.
