Dan Mitzner

Dan Mitzner's work experience begins with their role as the Chief Marketing Officer at CometChat, where they joined in 2021. In this position, they were responsible for establishing the Marketing function and scaling the organization through a Series A investment round. Dan also contributed to the growth of the revenue, finance, and product departments by hiring key personnel. Notably, they achieved a 100% year-over-year increase in self-service revenue.

Prior to CometChat, from 2018 to 2021, Mitzner worked as an Investor/Manager at Mitzner & Baumel LLC, as well as a Fractional Marketing Executive at Central Park Creative. In these roles, they utilized their expertise in marketing and management to contribute to the success of these organizations.

Before that, Mitzner held various positions at SendGrid, starting in 2013. Dan began as the Senior Director of Product Marketing and later became the Vice President of Marketing. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in driving product market fit, developing personas, and creating effective product messaging. Dan also led the strategic positioning, messaging, and customer experience for SendGrid.

In 2005, Mitzner co-founded M2B LLC, a regional preschool that grew from zero to $4 million in annual recurring revenue with multiple locations and over 50 employees. Dan focused on building a regional brand and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Earlier in their career, Mitzner worked at Oracle Retail and Oracle, where they held leadership roles in product marketing, customer experience, and community engagement.

Lastly, they served as the Director of Product Marketing at Decisioneering, Crystal Ball from 2005 to 2007.
