Salma Daneshmand

Salma Daneshmand has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Salma is currently working as the Head of Legal & Assurance at Comic Relief since August 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Legal Counsel (UK & Europe) at dunnhumby from April 2018 to January 2019. Salma also worked at NetNames (now CSC Digital Brand Services) as a Commercial Lawyer in 2016 and was promoted to the position of Associate General Counsel in 2017. Salma started their legal career as an Associate at Mayer Brown International LLP in September 2013 and gained experience as Trainee Solicitor from 2011 to 2013. Salma also had brief roles as a Trainee Solicitor at Unilever PLC in 2012, Junior Administrator at David Rubin & Partners in 2008, and 'Stagiaire' at Armand Associés from 2007 to 2008.

Salma Daneshmand attended Kaplan Law School from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a GDL & LPC degree in Law LLB. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Bristol from 2005 to 2009, earning a 2.1 degree in Philosophy & French. In 2004, they briefly attended the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, completing a diploma in Cours de la Civilisation Francaise.
