Virginia Guinda Lacalle

Virginia Guinda Lacalle is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Consejero delegado of Iberboard since June 2021, specializing in the production and sale of recycled cardboard in 33 countries. Virginia holds a prominent position as a Vocal del Colegio de Ingenieros Industriales de Cataluña and has been the Vicepresidenta y portavoz at Foment del Treball Nacional since January 2014. Additionally, Virginia is a member of the advisory council for electricity and hydrocarbons at the CNMC since January 2008 and has served as the Director Técnico at ACOGEN since its inception in 2006, advocating for cogeneration technologies in Spain. Virginia's prior experience includes founding and directing ENERGIA LOCAL for nearly a decade and serving as Secretaria Técnica at COGEN Spain. Virginia Guinda Lacalle holds an Industrial Engineering degree with a focus on energy techniques from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a finance degree from IESE Business School.
