Chuck Gardner is an experienced pilot with a diverse background in both firefighting and warbird aviation. Currently serving as a SEAT Airtanker Pilot at Boedeker Flying Service, Inc. since June 2024, Gardner has held various positions as a fighter pilot at Yanks Air Museum and as an SBD Dauntless Pilot with the Commemorative Air Force since 2019 and 2018, respectively. Previous roles include SEAT Airtanker Pilot with G.B. Aerial Applications, Inc. and Evergreen Flying Services, Inc., and instructor pilot for the P-51 Mustang and P-40 Warhawk at the Collings Foundation. Gardner's flight experience also encompasses instruction in WWII trainers and warbirds at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum and Warbird Adventures Inc. Gardner holds an Associate's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Austin Community College.
