Joseph Deacon

Joseph Deacon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joseph currently holds the position of Vice President, Sr. Account Executive - AP Solutions at Commerce Bank since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at American Express as a Manager, Business Development from March 2016 to June 2022. Joseph also served as the Business Development Director at Groupon from August 2010 to March 2016. Before transitioning into business development roles, Joseph worked as a Licensed Banker at Fifth Third Bank from August 2009 to August 2010. Joseph achieved exceptional sales performance during their tenure at AT&T as a Sales Consultant from August 2007 to August 2009, receiving recognition for their outstanding performance. Joseph began their career at Canteen Services in 1999, starting as a dish washer and eventually becoming a Manager, displaying leadership and excellent personal selling skills.

Joseph Deacon began their education at Rockford High School, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. After completing high school, they enrolled at Western Michigan University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Sales and Business Marketing. Joseph attended Western Michigan University from 2002 to 2007.
