Valerie Price

Valerie Price currently serves as the Deputy Director of Finance for Commerce City, starting in October 2023. Previously, Valerie held the position of Assistant Finance Director at the City of Brighton from March 2022 to October 2023. Valerie's extensive career in finance began in June 1988 as an Accountant with the City of Thornton, followed by a role as Accounting Manager at the City and County of Broomfield from June 2001 to March 2022. In this latter position, responsibilities included overseeing all functions of the Accounting Division, managing financial reporting, and administering the financial management system. Valerie began academic pursuits at Regis University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
