Georgina Mills

Georgina Mills is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in policy development and economic advisory roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Policy Director at the Commerce Commission since March 2023, Georgina has a robust background in the water industry from a long tenure at Ofwat that began in October 2012. Previous positions include Economic Advisor at the Department for Transport from August 2009 to October 2012, and similar roles at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. Georgina's career began as an Assistant Economist at the Office of Fair Trading and the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. Academically, Georgina holds a Master’s degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Kent.
