The Role:

As the Senior Director, Growth Marketing, you will play a pivotal role you will be responsible for defining and executing our growth strategy, driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion. You will be a key leader in CommerceIQ’s marketing organization, leading our demand generation and growth marketing  initiatives, building and leading a team of skilled professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our growth targets.

What You'll Do:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop and refine the company's growth strategy, including identifying new market opportunities, defining key growth metrics, and setting ambitious growth targets.
  • Customer Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire new B2B clients by developing and executing effective marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies, and partnerships. Drive top-of-funnel growth through inbound and outbound marketing efforts.
  • Customer Retention: Develop and implement customer retention programs to reduce churn and increase customer lifetime value. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Pricing and Monetization Strategy: Collaborate with the product and sales teams to optimize pricing strategies and packaging, aligning them with customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and insights to make informed decisions, measure the impact of growth initiatives, and continuously improve performance.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing growth team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to individual team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the growth department.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Identify strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels that can accelerate growth and expand our market reach.
  • Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, and apply this knowledge to inform growth strategies.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the growth budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive growth.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to the executive team and company stakeholders on growth KPIs, progress, and opportunities.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a senior marketing leader with at 10+ years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading growth initiatives in a SaaS B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model, subscription pricing, and customer retention strategies.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to use analytics to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships.
  • A passion for technology and a deep understanding of B2B software markets.
