Dr. Rabea Tamm

Dr. Rabea Tamm has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Rabea is currently working at commercetools as the Senior Director of DEI. Prior to that, they held the positions of Senior Director of Talent Development & DEI and Global Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the same company. Before joining commercetools, Dr. Tamm worked at Amazon for several years, where they held roles such as Senior Manager - Workforce of the Future, Bar Raiser, Senior Manager of Associate Development, EU Program Manager of Associate Development, HR Manager, and Senior HR Business Partner. Dr. Rabea also worked as an HR Consultant at Capgemini, a Lecturer and Research Associate at SRH Hochschule Berlin, and a Lecturer at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin. Furthermore, Dr. Tamm gained experience as a Student Worker at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants, as an Intern at DDB, and as a Praktikantin FDP Fraktion at Deutscher Bundestag.

Dr. Rabea Tamm attended Rice University in 2023 to study Defining Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Organizations. They earned their Dr. rer. pol. degree in Human Resource Management & Sociology from the University of Potsdam from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, Dr. Tamm completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Potsdam from 2008 to 2010. They began their higher education by earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration from SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2008.
