People Operations Manager at Social Value Portal

Lora Parkes has been working in various roles since 2009. Lora began their career at PIMCO as a Client Services Manager and Receptionist in 2009. In 2017, they moved to ISS Facility Services UK where they took on the role of PA to the MD & Office Manager. In 2018, they joined Red Engineering as the Director's PA & Office Manager. In 2020, they joined Uncommon as an Executive Assistant. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Social Value Portal as the Executive Assistant to the CEO | People & Culture Manager.

Lora Parkes is currently enrolled in the CIPD Qualifications Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management program. Lora previously obtained an HND in Computing from Birmingham City University. Lora has also obtained certifications from The Publishing Training Centre, IOSH, and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. Specifically, they obtained an Essential Proofreading: Editorial Skills certification from The Publishing Training Centre in December 2021, a Managing Safely certification from IOSH in May 2019, and a Mental Health First Aid certification from MHFA England in April 2019.
