Kai-Thomas Krause

Kai-Thomas Krause has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Kai-Thomas is currently working as the Checkout Business Lead at commercetools starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Operations at SYNAOS from April 2020 to May 2022. In 2018, they founded Agile Coaching & Organisational Development and worked as the Founder until May 2022. Kai-Thomas also co-founded and served as CEO of Couch Studios from November 2018 to September 2020. In 2015, they held the position of Vice President Engineering Mobile Commerce at NewStore, Inc. until November 2018. Kai-Thomas co-founded CouchCommerce GmbH in 2011 and served as its COO until May 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Projektmanager / Unternehmensberater / Geschäftsführer at Secrets of Management from February 2011 to October 2014. Kai-Thomas also gained experience in business development and freelancing roles at Venda, Netrada, and visions new media.

Kai-Thomas Krause obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management from Euro-FH Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg in the years 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a Diplom-Geograph degree in Wirtschaftsgeographie from Leibniz Universität Hannover from 1996 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including certifications in Agile Leadership, Scrum, and TensorFlow.
