Alexander Scherb

Alexander Scherb is a Senior Legal Counsel at Commerzbank AG, specializing in IT law, contract law, and data protection since March 2019. Prior to this role, Alexander served as a Syndikusanwalt at Allianz from October 2007 to August 2018, where responsibilities included legal support for German Allianz companies in various areas including distribution and competition law, general contract law, insurance contract law and supervision, data protection, and e-commerce. Alexander completed the Zweites Staatsexamen in Law at the Landgericht Essen from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Staatsexamen in Law from Universität Trier between 1999 and 2005. Additionally, Alexander participated in the ERASMUS program at Uppsala University, focusing on International and Comparative Trade Law and EU law from 2002 to 2003.
