Silvana Herold

Silvana Herold is an accomplished professional in corporate communications with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Group Corporate Communications and Managing Director at Commerzbank AG since May 2021, Silvana has also held the position of Interim Head of Group Management Communication. Prior to this, Silvana was the Head of Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and CSR at AXA from March 2018 to April 2021. Silvana's career began at Aareal Bank AG, where Silvana served as Director of Marketing Communications from October 2007 to February 2018, and earlier at BBDO Group Germany as Business Director from 1998 to 2007. Academically, Silvana holds a Diplom-Chemikerin degree in Chemistry from The University of Bonn, obtained from 1989 to 1998.
