Dan is the Director of operations and outreach at the Committee for Economic Development (CED) of The Conference Board. He is responsible for analyzing/optimizing daily operations and collaborates with senior staff to develop and implement CED’s strategic and operating plans -- assuring the smooth and efficient running of CED while ensuring increased exposure and impact of CED policy positions and initiatives. To this end, Dan leads the development and implementation of outreach related to CED solutions to senior public policy officials in the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch, the public policy, and the business community.
Dan has been with The Conference Board for just over ten years and during his tenure, has held a variety of roles, ranging from event marketing and logistics to operations and strategy of executive peer networks (Councils). Most recently and just before joining CED, Dan served in a leadership position at the forefront of the growing executive peer network business -- responsible for a Council portfolio focused on innovation, business process/performance, and digital (transformation).
Dan has broad experience in working with senior executives (including C-suite) across various functions and has successfully launched several new products (leading from idea capture, through exploration/stage-gate, to go-to-market), including the Chief Data Officers Council, Intelligent Automation Executives, and Chief Digital Officers Council.
Dan received his Bachelor of Business Administration in international business and marketing from The George Washington University and holds a Master of Science in information and knowledge strategy from Columbia University in the City of New York.
