Michelle LaMarche Smith

Michelle LaMarche Smith is the Senior Member Engagement Director for the Committee for Economic Development of The Conference Board. Prior to joining CED, she was responsible for managing the member portfolio in the Marketing and Commuincations Center of The Conference Board, and served as a strategic partner to member companies helping them address marketing, communications, and consumer-related business challenges via Center assets. Michelle joined the M&C Center in 2019 and served as the interim Center Leader for 6 months. Before her role with the M&C Center, she’s spent a decade as the Regional Director of Membership in the southeast for The Conference Board.

Prior to joining The Conference Board in 2007, Michelle spent most of her career in marketing and sales at Hewlett-Packard Company. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a BS in Financial Management and an MS in Industrial Management. Michelle resides in Atlanta.
