John Cooper has an extensive background in community engagement and leadership, currently serving as the Engagement Coordinator at Common Equity Housing Limited since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Chairperson and Treasurer at Serenity Common Equity Rental Cooperative, and involvement with various organizations such as Central Highlands Water, BCC, Sebastopol Men's Shed, and the Eureka Forum, often in advisory or administrative capacities. John Cooper possesses a wealth of experience in policy formulation, community engagement programs, and local governance, alongside a strong foundation in technology from years spent as a partner at CCS Internet and Computers. Educationally, John Cooper completed high school at Ballarat East High School and attended Mount Pleasant Primary School.
