Courtney Hummel

Courtney Hummel has over 15 years of work experience. In 2019, they began working as a Project Manager at Common Media, Inc. Prior to this, they were a Producer at BRIGADE from 2018 to 2019, an Event Services Manager at CompuSystems from 2015 to 2018, a Production Manager at Second City Works from 2013 to 2015, an Accounting Assistant at The Second City from 2007 to 2013, and an Administrative Assistant at YMCA from 2004 to 2007. At Second City Works, Hummel was responsible for maintaining consistency between scope and execution of entertainment shows and corporate training for clients, including the logistics leading up to the event such as casting, scheduling, client and talent management and maintaining the budget. At YMCA, Hummel provided administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient operations within the company, and also handled the marketing duties for programs and events.

Courtney Hummel attended DePaul University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Illinois State University between 2000 and 2004, with a focus on Mass Communication/Media Studies.
