Dylan Alles

Dylan Alles currently serves as the Director of Strategic Campaigns & Events and Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the CEO at Common Sense Media, starting in October 2023. Prior to this role, Dylan held the position of Senior Manager for Policy and Advocacy at KIPP Foundation from January 2022 to August 2023, and managed advocacy efforts at PAVE (Parents Amplifying Voices in Education) from October 2020 to December 2021. Dylan’s teaching experience includes roles as a Math Content Specialist and Corps Member with Teach For America, along with positions as a Middle School Math Teacher at Two Rivers Public Charter School and a 6th Grade Math Teacher at KIPP DC. Earlier experiences include a fellowship with Leadership for Educational Equity and an internship with the U.S. Department of Education. Dylan holds a Master of Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Colby College.
