Jeff Knutson

Jeff Knutson is the senior producer and content strategist for Common Sense Education's Teaching Strategies project, which creates short, actionable, social media-friendly video and web content aimed at helping teachers and students learn new, innovative, and effective ways to use edtech tools.

Prior to his work at Common Sense, Jeff was a classroom teacher for 10 years. He taught high school English, including classes for beginning-level English-language learners (ELLs). Throughout his career, Jeff has worked to enhance and redefine how students learn through the use of digital tools. He's an advocate for the creative, thoughtful, and responsible use of technology, and he thrives on sharing his knowledge, experience, and perspectives with others. In his role at Common Sense, Jeff has had the privilege to speak at numerous education conferences, including moderating a panel at SXSWedu. Jeff holds a master's degree in education from Lewis and Clark College.
