Katie Wu

Katie Wu serves as the Managing Director and Senior Consultant at Common Spark Consulting since June 2021 and holds the position of Senior Fellow at Gridworks, where involvement includes clean energy, building decarbonization, and demand-side policy development since January 2019. Previously, Wu was a Program and Project Supervisor at the California Public Utilities Commission from May 2012 to June 2017, overseeing a team and managing energy efficiency portfolios. Additional experience includes roles at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant, focusing on environmental and climate change business development, and consulting for the Natural Resources Defense Council, along with early positions as an Environmental Analyst and intern. Wu earned an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution from UC San Diego.
