Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Michelle founded and served as the CEO of CommonLit, a nonprofit edtech organization focused on improving students' reading and writing skills. Michelle also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Spanish at Marywood University and taught 7th-grade reading at Uncommon Schools and Teach For America.

Michelle Brown graduated from Butler University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2014, they completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Education Policy and Management at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
