Charles Hanson

Charles Hanson serves as the CEO/CFO of the Health Plan Segment at CommonSpirit Health since August 2022, overseeing all functions and operations of the organization. Prior to this role, Charles Hanson was the CFO of the Health Plan Segment at Catholic Health Initiatives, where responsibilities included financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Charles Hanson has extensive experience with UnitedHealth Group, holding various leadership positions, including Vice President of Finance, where management of a financial team and product development for Medicare Advantage products occurred. Early in the career, Charles Hanson worked at Prudential Insurance Company as a Life Insurance Underwriter and Senior Financial Analyst. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Minnesota State University, an Executive Development Program certificate from The Wharton School, and an Accounting Degree Equivalency from the University of Minnesota.
