John Chan

John Chan is currently the System Director of Risk Analytics and Economics at CommonSpirit Health, overseeing analytics, pricing, and forecasting for risk-sharing and value-based agreements since May 2022. Previously, John spent a decade at Blue Shield of California in various roles, including Senior Manager responsible for enterprise and provider analytics, and Senior Actuarial Analyst focusing on group pricing and product development. Other notable experiences include serving as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank, where John conducted equity research on the insurance sector, and providing consultancy at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. John began a career at Stokbot Network as a Business Analyst, developing predictive analytics for the publishing industry. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science from Macquarie University.
