Tanya Martinez

Tanya Martinez, C-TAGME, currently serves as the California Region GME Director and Southern California Division GME Director for CommonSpirit Health since January 2023. Previously, Tanya held various significant roles including Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the National Board for Certification - Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education, and Designated Institutional Official (DIO) at MountainView Regional Medical Center. Experience also includes board membership on Institutional Review Boards at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine and Mercer University School of Medicine. Tanya's career in medical education management started at HCA Healthcare and spans over two decades, including roles at Aurora Health Care and The University of Chicago. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago.
