Adrienne started their career as an Intensive Family Consultant at Children's Services of Hampton Roads, where they provided case management care for therapeutic foster care clients. Adrienne then worked as a Counseling Intern at Gordon College, providing short-term counseling services to college students.

After that, Adrienne joined Lahey Health Behavioral Services as an Outpatient and Substance Use Clinician, where they provided clinic-based therapy and played a key role in implementing standardized documentation procedures. Adrienne later worked at the Institute for Health and Recovery as a Training and Policy Specialist, leading the "Smoke Free Families" program and expanding its reach to other agencies.
