Mamta Bathla

Mamta Bathla has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mamta started their career at Vardhman Threads, where they worked in logistics from 1998 to 2001. Mamta then moved on to JPMorgan Chase, where they led a team in business analysis from 2003 to 2005. After that, they worked at KeyBank as a Senior Risk Management Analyst, focusing on model validation and risk management of loan portfolios.

In 2007, Bathla joined Highmark as a Decision Support Consultant, providing technical and analytical expertise in various data analyses related to healthcare costs, provider performance, and customer/product profitability. Mamta later became a Lead Consultant, specializing in financial investigations to uncover overpayments, fraud, and abuse in paid claims.

From 2012 to 2016, Bathla worked at Aetna as a Manager in Medical Economics. In this role, they managed teams, developed reporting and analytics methodologies, and collaborated with IT and Medical Directors to meet business needs. Mamta also worked on integration, merger, and conversion projects.

Since 2016, Bathla has been at Commonwealth Care Alliance, starting as a Financial Manager before being promoted to Director and eventually Senior Director of Medical Economics. In these roles, they led medical cost analytics, program evaluation studies, and the implementation of healthcare analytics and reporting. Mamta also managed and mentored staff and collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Throughout their career, Bathla has demonstrated expertise in data analytics, project management, and using tools such as SAS and SQL. Mamta has a strong background in healthcare finance and has contributed to cost reduction, revenue optimization, and improved patient care through their work in medical economics.

Mamta Bathla holds a Master of Science (MS) in Operations Research from the University of Delaware. Mamta also has a Master of Science (MSc) in Operational Research from Delhi University. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Data Science from General Assembly in 2022.
