Rashmi Nelson, MHA, CHIE has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare organizations and consulting firms. Starting in 2009, they completed an administrative residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and an internship at the Pan American Health Organization. Rashmi then worked as a project lead at The Johns Hopkins University, where they designed and implemented a public health outreach project. Rashmi later joined Accenture as a management consultant before transitioning to The Dedham Group as a graduate intern in life sciences. In 2014, they interned at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in global strategy. Rashmi then served as a management consultant at The Chartis Group before joining America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) as an executive leadership fellow, where they completed an year-long fellowship program. Currently, Rashmi is a member at Chief, and previously held multiple roles at Commonwealth Care Alliance, including VP of Corporate Planning & Performance and Chief of Staff & Vice President.

Rashmi Nelson, MHA, CHIE has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health and Natural Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Rashmi then pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Columbia University, completing it from 2014 to 2016. In 2019, they attended the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health to earn a certificate in Emerging Women Executives in Health Care. To complete their secondary education, Rashmi Nelson attended Holmdel High School from 2002 to 2006.
