Tova Berman has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Tova began their career as an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where they facilitated seminars, evaluated student performance, and delivered lectures. Tova then completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at MelroseWakefield Healthcare, gaining exposure to both inpatient and outpatient community practice. During this time, they specialized in transitions-in-care pharmacy practice and published research. Berman then joined Commonwealth Care Alliance, starting as a Clinical Pharmacist and later becoming the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy. In these roles, they developed and implemented programs to optimize medication use, collaborated with healthcare providers, and provided patient counseling. Currently, as the Senior Director of Pharmacy at Commonwealth Care Alliance, Berman leads a team focused on optimizing pharmacy benefits and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Tova Berman earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in the years 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended Touro College of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2017, obtaining a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in Pharmacy Practice. In December 2017, they obtained a certification as a Pharmacist from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
