Terry Joye Dixon

Terry Joye Dixon is an accomplished professional in development and alumni relations with extensive experience at the University of South Carolina, currently serving as Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the College of Pharmacy since November 2012. In this role, Terry oversees fundraising, stewardship, and alumni engagement while fostering collaborations that benefit students and the College. Previously, as Director of Development for Pharmacy, Terry played a key role in the Carolina's Promise campaign from 2007 to 2015. Terry's earlier experience includes positions as Director of Development for Mass Communications and Information Studies, Interim Director of Development at the Medical Foundation of NC, and Director of Public Affairs at Palmetto Health. Terry holds a M.Ed in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina, an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, and a B.A. in Communications from Winthrop University.
