Wendy M. Walter

Ms. Walter joined the CCR team in April of 2012 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in Long Term Care Administration.

Ms. Walter began her career in senior care in 1994 but was no stranger to the profession as she volunteered and worked part-time through school at her local nursing center. She obtained her license as a Nursing Home Administrator in 1996 and held various positions with one of Virginia’s largest providers where she demonstrated success with operational results, regulatory compliance, and quality. Ms. Walter also brings experience in working for a health system. During her tenure with Centra Health, she led her team to two national quality awards with the American Health Care Association and various other awards from the Virginia Health Care Association which recognized the accomplishments in quality, service, and operational outcomes. Ms. Walter was also instrumental in implementation of the quality and patient safety program for Post-Acute Services.
