Rick Tonielli

Rick Tonielli is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy efficiency and sustainability, currently serving as the Sr. Energy Efficiency Program Manager at ComEd since 2012. Tonielli has pioneered programs using a Market Transformation model, developed the Virtual Commissioning Program, and directed several award-winning initiatives aimed at optimizing energy use in commercial real estate. Prior roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Green Building Council - Illinois and as a Sustainability Consultant at GreenPoint Partners. With a solid background at AT&T in corporate strategy and product management, and previous experience as an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Tonielli holds an MBA from Northwestern University and advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering and Biology/Chemistry.
