Brandon Waltman is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, specializing in high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets and responsible for critical systems in the SPARC fusion project, a collaboration with MIT aimed at developing the world's first net-energy fusion device. Prior to this role, Brandon worked at Xwing, where contributions focused on new aircraft development for advanced aviation systems, and at Sierra Nevada Corporation, leading UAV development efforts and significant modifications for USAF platforms.
