Gina Rhineberger, CTFL-AT, CSM, PSM I, PSPO I

Gina Rhineberger, CTFL-AT, CSM, PSM I, PSPO I have extensive work experience in software quality assurance and product management roles. Gina started their career in 1998 as a Tester/Help Desk at Howard W. Sams, where they tested software and provided user support. Gina then worked as a Software Test Analyst at Sigma Micro, manually testing accounting and web catalog products.

In 2002, Gina joined Orchard Software as a Software Testing Manager. Gina was responsible for building the testing team and developing an in-depth understanding of laboratory software. Gina also gained expertise in manipulating HL7 files and worked in a hybrid waterfall environment.

From 2012 to 2014, Gina worked as a Quality Assurance Lead at Fuzion Analytics, where they led testing efforts for custom SaaS products. Gina created testing strategies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing, and conducted backend database testing using SQL.

At NextGear Capital, Gina held the position of Sr. Software Quality Assurance from 2014 to 2018. Gina executed automated tests, performed manual tests on Visual Studio packages, and created testing packages for data comparison.

From 2018 to 2021, Gina worked at Crowe as a Senior Staff - QA and Product Owner. As a Product Owner, they collaborated with stakeholders to identify pain points and create user stories. Gina also worked with the development team to organize work and maximize productivity.

In 2021, Gina joined Reify Health as an Associate Product Manager. Gina identified stakeholders' needs and supported product development as a Scrum Master, facilitating meetings and retrospectives.

In 2022, Gina became the Lead Quality Engineer at Smarsh, where they led quality efforts for a compliance-driven SAAS product. Gina defined test scenarios, edited files, ran jobs, and troubleshooted failures.

Currently, Gina is working as a Senior Software QA Consultant at Commonwealth Informatics Inc, a position they started in 2023.

Gina Rhineberger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Gina obtained the following additional certifications: Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) from Scrum.org in June 2020, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org in December 2019, ISTQB AGILE TESTER (CTFL-AT) from ASTQB - Official Page - American Software Testing Qualifications Board in February 2019, Exam 768: Developing SQL Data Models from Microsoft in August 2017, ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from ASTQB - Official Page - American Software Testing Qualifications Board in August 2005, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in November 2019.
