Jo-Ann Somers

Jo-Ann Somers has extensive experience in public safety telecommunications, currently serving in the Massachusetts TERT program as a certified and credentialed telecommunicator since August 2022. This program collaborates with various state entities to support public safety answering points during emergencies. Additionally, Jo-Ann has been a 911 Telecommunicator for the Town of Oxford, MA, since June 1974, and has held the position of Dispatcher for the Town of Oxford Police Department since June 2005. Jo-Ann attended Oxford High School from 1972 to 1977.
