Yvonne Hao

Yvonne Hao is an experienced leader in economic development and finance, currently serving as the Secretary of Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since January 2023. Prior to this role, Yvonne held board positions at companies such as Flywire, CarGurus, and Gentherm, while also co-founding Cove Hill Partners, where Yvonne served as an Operating Advisor and Former Managing Director. As the COO and CFO of PillPack until its acquisition by Amazon in 2018, Yvonne played a crucial role in the company's success. Yvonne's earlier career includes positions at Bain Capital as an Operating Partner and interim CEO/COO for various portfolio companies, as well as a tenure as CEO of D&M (Denon & Marantz) and COO of Gymboree. Yvonne holds a Master of Philosophy in Development/Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Asian Studies from Williams College.
