Ashley P. Murphy

Ashley P. Murphy is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Prosecuting Attorney for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ashley held the position of Legislative Counsel at the Pennsylvania Bar Association from November 2016 to July 2022, and worked as an Associate at The Family Law Practice of Leslie S. Arzt LLC and Howett, Kissinger & Holst PC from 2015 to 2015. Additionally, Ashley gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk for the New Castle County Family Court and a Certified Legal Intern at Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law, where a Doctor of Law (J.D.) was obtained between 2008 and 2011. An undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a minor in Psychology, was earned at Virginia Tech from 2004 to 2008.
