Research Engineer at Commsignia

Szilárd Turi-Kováts started their work experience in 2019 as a Software Engineer at Bosch, where they worked in the tool development team of the Chassis Systems Control division. Their responsibilities included developing a software framework for designing and managing Passive Safety applications. Szilárd added new features, troubleshooted, reviewed code bases, prepared technical documentation, and provided support to other groups in the department. In 2021, they joined Commsignia as a Research Engineer. Their role involved finding new ways to integrate and protect other road users, such as cyclists, scooters, and pedestrians, into the Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology ecosystem. Szilárd continues to work at Commsignia in this role.

Szilárd Turi-Kováts earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, completing their studies from 2016 to 2020. In addition, they obtained the European Computer Driving Licence from ECDL / ICDL Certification in October 2016. Subsequently, Szilárd went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2022.
