Lin Zhang

Lin Zhang currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Communication University of China, a position held since July 2005. Prior to this role, Lin Zhang was a stage lighting designer at the Beijing Opera Company from September 1998 to July 2005. Lin Zhang's educational background includes advanced studies in lighting design, with a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design obtained from Hochschule Wismar between 2010 and 2012 and additional research as a guest researcher in 2019-2020. Further academic achievements comprise a Master of Arts in Theatre Design from the Central Academy of Drama and a Bachelor's degree in Stage Lighting Design from the same institution. Earlier education includes a focus on Painting and Sculpture at the Art School Affiliated with the Central Academy of Fine Art.
