Daniel Atkins

Daniel Atkins is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Communications & Power Industries (CPI) since November 2025, Daniel has previously held key positions including Mechanical Engineering & Design Manager at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions from October 2020 to November 2025, and Sr. Mechanical Engineer at CPI from June 2020 to October 2020. Prior to that, Daniel worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems from August 2014 to June 2020, and began a career in engineering as a Mechanic at Bicycles Plus from 2010 to 2014. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
