Michelle Debert

Michelle Debert is an experienced manager and social worker with a strong background in homelessness support and intervention. Currently serving as the Manager of HART4000 at Communify since July 2019, Michelle oversees a comprehensive homelessness hub that includes centre-based access, mobile support, and immediate housing responses for families. Previous roles include Coordinator of the Homelessness Assessment and Referral Team, and Case Worker at HART4000, where advocacy and housing access for those at risk of homelessness were prioritized. Michelle's experience also extends to the Salvation Army, yourtown, and Micah Projects, focusing on accommodation services, children's social skills, and outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Queensland University of Technology and a Diploma in Community Services Work from TAFE Queensland.
