Coral Simpkins-Mims

Coral Simpkins-Mims is an experienced professional in event management, marketing, and digital media, currently serving as the Meeting & Events Manager at Communities Foundation of Texas since August 2022. As the Owner and CEO of CoCo Media, a black-owned digital marketing and corporate event planning company established in October 2017, Coral focuses on assisting minority and small businesses in building an online marketing presence. Previous roles include Special Events Coordinator at The University of Texas at Arlington, Producer at NBCUniversal Media, Content Editor at T and J Family Funeral Home, and others in various capacities related to communication and event management. Coral holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Communications from Full Sail University and is an Esthetician graduate from Ogle School Hair Skin Nails.
