Stephanie Gallegos Lmsw

Stephanie Gallegos, LMSW, is a mental health therapist currently working at Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County since July 2023. Previously, Stephanie gained experience as a Master of Social Work Intern at UNT Health Science Center, where comprehensive mental health assessments were conducted, and various therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) were applied. Additionally, training was received as a grant recipient at Bilingual Trauma Informed Integrated Care to address mental health disparities among underserved populations. Volunteer experience at Alliance For Children involved creating a trauma-informed environment, while an earlier internship at Duncanville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center focused on assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration. Stephanie holds a Master of Social Work from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at El Paso.
