Donna Andrade has extensive experience in case management and social services, currently serving as a Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of North Texas since November 2021. Previously, Donna worked as a Children Nursery Worker at Prestonwood Baptist Church from January 2018 to November 2021, and as an Administrative Assistant at Dogwood Literacy Council from August 2019 to May 2021. Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Human Services from John Brown University, where studies were completed between 2018 and 2021.

The mission of Communities In Schools of North Texas is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. There is no single reason why students drop out of school. Nor is dropping out of school a sudden decision. Dropping out is a result of a long process of disengagement that may begin even before a child enters school. It is a cumulative process, brought about by any number of individual, family, community or school risk factors. More than 1/3 of the students who drop out of high school fail to make the transition from 9th to 10th grade. Repeating a grade is the most significant school related risk factor associated with dropping out. CISNT currently operates school-based dropout prevention programs in Bridgeport ISD, Denton ISD, Gainesville ISD, Lake Dallas ISD, Lewisville ISD, and Northwest ISD. CISNT is a 501(c)3 non profit organization.
