Carlos Vázquez

Carlos Vázquez, MSW, is a dedicated professional in social work with a robust background in both clinical and operational settings. Currently serving as a Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of South Central Texas since February 2023, Carlos previously completed a Master's degree in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University. This followed a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution. Experience includes a clinical social work internship where Carlos promoted ethical practices and conducted psychosocial assessments, alongside a social work internship providing crisis intervention during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to entering the social work field, a distinguished military career included multiple roles in religious support and operations management within the U.S. Army, providing significant support to thousands of soldiers and their families.
