Dezalyn Triplin

Dezalyn Triplin has a diverse range of work experience. Dezalyn is currently working as a Community School Director at Johnstown Middle School for Communities In Schools Pennsylvania. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing various community school programs.

Prior to their current position, Dezalyn worked as a Residential Supervisor for the TRIO, Upward Bound Program. During their time in this role, they supervised tutor counselors in their interactions with students and provided academic, career, and personal counseling to program participants.

Dezalyn also gained experience at Rosemont College where they served as a Resident Assistant and Student Ambassador. As a Resident Assistant, they mentored and advised first-year students while enforcing campus living policies. Additionally, they worked with other Resident Assistants to create a successful residence hall community and organized hall programs to educate residents about important issues. As a Student Ambassador, Dezalyn assisted prospective students in understanding the benefits of attending college and conducted campus tours, demonstrating leadership and providing excellent customer service.

Furthermore, Dezalyn served as Vice President for the Student Government Association, where they played a leadership role in student governance.

Additionally, they worked as a Tutor-Counselor for the TRIO, Upward Bound Program during a summer internship.
